The Dapper Apple is pleased to present the "Show us your 'stache" giveaway. We need you to make a mustache, grow a mustache, even borrow a mustache for this giveaway (I made mine from construction paper and a sharpie...). Through September 15th 2010, you can enter for the chance to win one of two $25.00 certificates good toward fabulous vintage merchandise from The Dapper Apple store on Etsy. You don't even have to have a real mustache! Hooray! Keep reading for details.
A Little Background:
You know the Apple, always parading around town with his blackest black, perfectly groomed moustache. Yes. You are right. He is a bit of a show off when it comes to his whiskers; twisting the ends while scheming, twitching it when he can't make a decision... Whether or not you admit it out loud, you are a bit jealous of his dashing facial decor. You don't have to hide your envy any longer. It is your turn to show off your 'stache - be it home made or home grown. You might even win some vintage gear!
The process for entry is simple:
Snap a picture of yourself wearing a mustache. We prefer it be homemade but you can also don a homegrown or purchased 'soup strainer'. Whatever suits you.
Post your picture on our Facebook fan page (here is the link) or email your photo to thedapperapple@yahoo.com. Please make the subject "contest". By submitting the photo you are giving us permission to post your photo on this blog or our Facebook fan page.
